Sacraments

Lower Key Stage Two

In Year 3, the children will begin their two year journey of receiving Christ in the Eucharist by the Sacrament of Reconciliation. This Sacrament is extremely important as we speak to God to say sorry for what we have done and ask the priest to absolve our sins.

In Year 4, we will continue our preparation for receiving the Eucharist by attending Church regularly and completing the 'Heart Speaks to Heart' programme of study.

Upper Key Stage Two

During their last year of primary school, the children will prepare and receive the Sacrament of Confirmation. A Sacrament where we receive the Holy Spirit and confirm our faith in God.

Reconciliation 2026

Children from across Key Stage 2 recently made the Sacrament of Reconciliation at church, surrounded by their families and loved ones. The children spent time reflecting, praying and preparing for this important step in their faith journey before receiving God's forgiveness through the sacrament. It was a lovely occasion and we were so proud of the children for the maturity, reverence and respect they showed throughout. Thank you to all of the families who joined us to support and celebrate this special moment.

First Holy Communion 2026

Congratulations to all of our children who made their First Holy Communion on Sunday 17th May 2026.

The Mass, led by Father Saji, was a truly special and memorable occasion for everyone involved. We are incredibly proud of each and every child for the reverence, joy and faith they showed throughout the celebration.

May God be with you always and continue to bless you as you journey forward in faith.

Confirmation 2026

Children in Year 6 received the Sacrament of Confirmation at St. Nicholas’ Church on Thursday 12th February. During this very special celebration, the children were filled with the Holy Spirit as they continued on their journey of faith.

The service was led by Bishop Marcus, accompanied by Fr. Saji, which was a true honour for our school community. A huge thank you to the members of the choir who joined us and helped to make the occasion even more memorable.

We would also like to thank the children’s parents and sponsors for being such a wonderful guiding light in their lives and supporting them throughout their faith journey.

Congratulations to all of the children on receiving this special sacrament.
